It was a jubilant and vibrant day to celebrate 25, 50 and 60 years of jubilee anniversaries of our dear jubilarians on 13th April2019. The Thanksgiving jubilee celebration was officiated by Rev Fr. Bala Showri, SJ Rector Loyola community of Vijayawada, with other priests.
The Holy mass began with the procession declaring the Lord’s glorious deeds in singing led by the jubilarians to the altar of God, followed by others. As they reached to the altar the jubillarians offered the lamps and paddy as the sign of completion of their dedicated years. The main celebrant highlighted the points on gratitude.
After the Holy mass the felicitation program was organized in honor of jubilarians. The jubilarians were esteemed for their committed services and were felicitated with mementoes. Our formess with their rhythmic steps made everyone more cheerful. Finally the sweet memories were shared while jubilarians cut the cake as the others greeted them with congratulation song.
We sincerely thank our jubilarians for their fidelity to God who called them by name and availing themselves to the needs of the church. They have toiled day and night by keeping our charism alive.
At the end of the felicitation programme Silver jubillarians proposed the vote of thanks. The day of celebration was ended with gratitude to God and this celebration made everyone to feel sense of joy and happiness.
